TMI Warranty

General warranty

TMI hereby warrants that unless otherwise stated, the equipment will be returned to the customer in good operating condition. All service work is warranted for a period of ninety days covering all labor, and any parts we have previously replaced, necessary to return the equipment to a good operating condition. Physical damages and abuse are excluded. Neither TMI nor its employees shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damage arising from the use of equipment serviced by TMI. Customer acknowledges that TMI is not the manufacturer of the equipment and that TMI has not and cannot make any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. The remedies provided herein are buyer’s sole and exclusive remedies.

Calibration specifics

TMI warrants calibration services are provided in accordance with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006 or ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The information contained on Certificates of Calibration and Data Sheets are true and correct. Certificates of Calibration and Data Sheets accurately reflect the calibration service performed. Typographical errors are corrected at no cost to the customer. If calibration services that fail to meet the warranty stated are identified within a ninety (90) day period following performance of such service, TMI will perform the same service, to the same extent and on the same conditions as the original service. TMI does not warrant the calibration interval. Interval assignment and adjustment is the responsibility of the Customer. If no interval is specified by the Customer, the TMI Calibration Label indicates the Manufacturer’s recommended interval of calibration. This action is taken as a precaution for the benefit of the end user.

Repair specifics

TMI warrants the repair service, provided by TMI against defects in the material replaced and workmanship, which manifests itself within ninety (90) of the date of service.
